Briar root is a unique material, characterised by its dense and intricate grains. Discovered in the last century by some French artisans and immediately appreciated for its compactness and brightness, it soon became an unmistakable trait of style in the production of high-level objects.

This box, embellished with the reproduction of an ancient Neapolitan Gouache with a view of the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, reveals all the charm of twisted wood fibres, distinguished by multiple shades of amber colour.
